Every week I write about a variety of PLR products that are released from quality vendors. I know that some people bad talk PLR because they have gotten garbage and that part is true.
The good thing is their are providers that deliver quality content.
Here is how you can use some of the things that I have discussed over the last few weeks to really improve your business. Here is part one of a step by step case study of what I did with a specific product.
Going to pick article marketing because there has been a few great PLR releases lately. Lets start with planning what we are going to do.
First I would decide how to use the PLR course. I grabbed the course and went through it first. After going through it I made a decision to sell it as an ebook with the checklists.
Next I opened the affiliate niche pack and looked at the potential domain names. Went to Go Daddy and grabbed one. Now for hosting, autoresponder and an affiliate program I use an account at The Marketers Hosting where I can get it all for about $20 bucks a month. If you already have these items so much the better.
First I edited the ebook, personalized it to me then converted it to a pdf and did the same thing with the checklists. Packaged those with my own bonuses and created a zip file for the download.
Next I edited the sales letter that was provided and put it into my own template and used the affiliate program to create a payment button and to send people to the download page.
Then I created a download page. Added an up sell to another product that I own that would be a perfect addition at a customers only price. Because of that it took me about an hour to create the download page because I pulled the sales letter for the upgrade and the css was different so it took a little more time. When I can just copy and paste this is a 10 minute job. Created a special product for it in the affiliate program at the discount price. (This part is optional but will make a huge difference in what you make if you match the products properly.)
At this point it is ready to sell. It is what I call good enough. I have about 4 hours total into the project. That was my Saturday afternoon project.
This morning I sent out an email to see how people would react to the product. So far about one in every 3 buyers are taking the up sell too.
I invested about $85 total as I already had hosting and an autoresponder and have turned a net profit. Now that I already know people will buy this it is time to really get to work and take it up another step.
More on how I will do that in another post but the key is to actually take action and get it up and for sale quickly. That is where the affiliate niche pack research and some of the pieces I did not add to the initial product will come to be used extensively too.
