Today I am continuing the series on using the PLR (private label rights) items you get. After all buying or even getting for free PLR and having it sit on your hard drive just wastes space.

With all of the giveaways, up sells, etc that will offer you PLR packages and the various quality providers of PLR article packs like Easy PLR it is easy to clutter your hard drive quickly.

Now lets go over a plan to use this content. Now there are probably an unlimited number of variations that you can use to consume PLR articles so lets keep this discussion to 3 main ones. (You can use the same content in multiple ways.)

• Create a report
• Blog content or article marketing
• Create an e-course

Lets go through the steps for each of these. First of course you need to decide how to use the content.

Create a report

For this example we will say you grabbed a pack of 10 related articles. The first item will be to place the articles in an order that flows from topic to topic.

Next you will need to do any editing and add in text where needed to have a smooth flow to your report. Add in any recommendations where they will fit into the report and personalize it to you with an about the author section.

Finally you will need to create the report in deliverable form and a way for people to get it. (See the previous article on using PLR reports.)

Blog Content or Article Marketing

Now this content can also be used for the various parasite hosts as described in Backlink Flood for content.

Start with some editing to personalize the article to your style. Add in recommendations about the topic with in the text if it is blog content or you are using it for the various parasite hosts.

If you are using it for article marketing you will add your recommendation into your signature file. Then submit your content.

Create an e-course

First step here will be to organize the articles into an order that builds on each one. Create your emails by editing the content and add in recommendations where they make sense. (Usually in a PS or other soft sell within the email.)

Create a way for people to sign up to your e-course (a squeeze page system).

Let me start this with a disclaimer. I consider Joel Osborne to be a very good friend and he has helped me numerous times. More than once he has helped me with graphics and helped promote my products. He is one of the all around good guys in my master mind group.

Today I need to call him out and you will benefit as quite truthfully I think he has gone nuts. Now he just released a set of 10 affiliate marketing articles. I grabbed the package right away and was shocked.

Joel puts out some great private label rights offers and usually runs them as a WSO (Warrior Special Offer). This one is no different. This time he has really undervalued his own worth. Not sure what the price is when you read this but it started at $5 and the maximum price is $8. That is 50-80 cents an article. Way too low for the quality he is releasing and for limiting it to just 100 sets.

That alone would be enough for me to wonder about his sanity. But…

He added 3 bonuses to the package. Gee I am almost tempted to call the men in the white coats to catch him.

He added a checklist that will give you seven ways to use these articles, some research on a huge number of keyword rich domains and finally a list of some products to promote using the content. This alone is worth more than he is charging.

So take advantage of my friend’s insanity and grab your affiliate marketing article package. Don’t let the insane price fool you these are worth many times what he is asking.

You can be sure that I will do my best to make sure he comes to his senses in the future so I doubt he will have another offer that is this insane.

The need for content never ends when running an online business. Whether it is to create a product(which can give you great leverage) or for creating content private label rights can save you time.

Here are 5 ways that you can use PLR to save time and grow your business faster.

• Create a product for sale
• Use for list building as a gift

• Bonus for another product
• Content

Let’s look at each of these and how PLR can help you.

Create a product

There are numerous private label rights products available for sale. You can take these packages and have a product easily. Some easy editing to get your voice into the product and adding your own recommendations where they fit give you a product ready to go. If you have an affiliate program you can leverage others to sell it.

If you do not have an affiliate program there is always Clickbank or PayDotCom.

List building

The key to building your list is having something your target market just has to have. This can be a short report, a video or an audio. It just has to be something they MUST have. PLR allows you to create these items with minimal effort. You can use a product you have created as an upsell.

This will allow you to monetize your list building process quickly and be able to buy traffic for no cost.

Giveaway item

This can be a great way to pre-sell products and build your list. You can give away (not squeeze for an email) a viral product that links back to the product you want to promote. Take it up a level and add a link to your email list to get the latest version of this item and it can be a powerful tool.

PLR products can make a great base for creating these types of items.

Bonus for another product

One of the ways to sell more of your own product is to have appropriate bonuses that enhance your product. PLR will allow you to add bonuses quickly without the time and effort needed to create your own.

Content

Content, whether on a blog or article marketing can be a great way to generate traffic to your sites and products. PLR can save you a lot of time and effort.

This series continues the last time I discussed getting the site set up so now you need traffic. Here are 6 ways to get traffic to your new site.

1. Articles
2. Podcasts
3. Videos
4. Bookmarking
5. Squidoo
6. Hub Pages

All of these except the bookmarking are relatively easy because you already have content created. Now it is time to repurpose it.

Articles

A slight rewrite of your articles gives you an easy way to have an article that you can submit to the directories. If money is tight make sure you submit to Ezine Articles. If you can afford it a submission service like Content Crooner can get you great distribution easily.

Podcasts

You are using a blog if you are following this series so add Podpress plugin to your blog and go grab Audacity. Read your articles and use Audacity to create an mp3 which you can add to your blog and Podpress will distribute it for you. Add your podcast feed into the various podcast directories and you have a great traffic source.

Videos

Take your articles and import them into power point. Open Camtasia or Cam Studio and record while you read the slides. You now have a video to submit to the directories.You can use Tube Mogul to upload it to quite a few for free.

Bookmarking

Bookmark your sites to your favorites. You can use a service like OnlyWire to automate some of this. One thing with bookmarking, make sure you are bookmarking more than just your sites. Bookmarking quality sites regularly increases the chances that people will follow your recommendations.

Squidoo

Create a lens on your topic, use your articles and videos for content of your lens. Add your site rss feed as part of your lens.

Hub Pages

Very similar to Squidoo and you will repurpose your content here once again.

So there are 6 ways to generate traffic most of them by just repurposing the content you already have available.
