Today I am continuing the series on using the PLR (private label rights) items you get. After all buying or even getting for free PLR and having it sit on your hard drive just wastes space.

With all of the giveaways, up sells, etc that will offer you PLR packages and the various quality providers of PLR article packs like Easy PLR it is easy to clutter your hard drive quickly.

Now lets go over a plan to use this content. Now there are probably an unlimited number of variations that you can use to consume PLR articles so lets keep this discussion to 3 main ones. (You can use the same content in multiple ways.)

Create a report

Blog content or article marketing

Create an e-course

Lets go through the steps for each of these. First of course you need to decide how to use the content.

Create a report

For this example we will say you grabbed a pack of 10 related articles. The first item will be to place the articles in an order that flows from topic to topic.

Next you will need to do any editing and add in text where needed to have a smooth flow to your report. Add in any recommendations where they will fit into the report and personalize it to you with an about the author section.

Finally you will need to create the report in deliverable form and a way for people to get it. (See the previous article on using PLR reports.)

Blog Content or Article Marketing

Now this content can also be used for the various parasite hosts as described in Backlink Flood for content.

Start with some editing to personalize the article to your style. Add in recommendations about the topic with in the text if it is blog content or you are using it for the various parasite hosts.

If you are using it for article marketing you will add your recommendation into your signature file. Then submit your content.

Create an e-course

First step here will be to organize the articles into an order that builds on each one. Create your emails by editing the content and add in recommendations where they make sense. (Usually in a PS or other soft sell within the email.)

Create a way for people to sign up to your e-course (a squeeze page system).

So there you have 3 ways to use the PLR content you have and put it to work. You can grab 50 PLR niche articles for signing up for a free PLR Masters E-course to get started applying these tips.

Often I talk about a variety of PLR reports that become available. Today lets walk through the process to take the report you just purchased and put it into use. I have mapped out the process I go through to use a PLR report.

Now I have only covered 3 options that I usually use a report for. You could use it just for content but I will be doing future posts on using PLR articles which will apply to reports too.

Here is the mind map of the process. You will notice that a lot of the steps are very similar.

You start with buying a quality PLR report from a place like Easy PLR. Now you have to make one of three choices.

Make it a product

Make it a giveaway report

Make it an e-course

The choice is yours. The steps will be very similar no matter which choice you make.

First step is to edit it and make it your own changing the format in the case of an e-course to a series of emails instead of a report you are going to sell or give away.

Next you need web pages to either sell the report, 3 page squeeze page system to either give the report away or to get people to sign up for the e-course.

The final step is to promote the pages you created. Now there are hundreds of different ways for you to do this but if you just get started and do this right away you will soon be profiting from your purchase.

The big thing is to use right away what you buy. That PLR report that looked so good when you grabbed it does you no good on your hard drive.

If you are looking for more technical step by step help on using your PLR report check out The PLR Video Tutorial Series from PLR Master Doug Champigny.

More and more you are seeing video PLR products being released. The latest was Jeremy Burns Source Code Goldmine 9 which this time was 100% video products. Edmund Loh will be releasing a great package on Tuesday that will be video based.

Despite this I think that most people are scared of PLR video products. They think it is too hard to turn them and make them unique to you. Consequently they either just reuse them as is and try and compete on price or just ignore them totally. Both will hurt your business.

Now video products done right sell quite well so what is stopping you from cashing in on these products?

If I had to take a guess I would assume (and regular readers know how much I hate that word) that you are scared that it is just too hard and beyond your understanding. It takes too much software and the learning curve is an absolute killer.

Now to be truthful there is a bit of a learning curve and you do need some software. The software can be had for less than a $100 and you can get training from an expert on video and PLR for half of that.

So for less than $150 you can get everything you need to be able to profit from these types of offerings quickly and easily.

Using PLR Videos is a course from Doug Champigny that will walk you through exactly how to take a PLR video package, make it your own and get it online ready to sell.

It includes…

The first teleseminar ever done on how to use PLR videos

The complete transcript of the call (if you prefer reading and making notes to just listening)

A video series that will walk you through every step including

Editing the sales letter

Add a payment button

Upload the sales letter

Making the videos your own so they brand you

Adding more backend monetization

And much more

So if you don’t want to be left behind and miss out on some great quality PLR video products just because you don’t know how to use them grab Doug’s package Using PLR Videos.

This way you can quickly and easily add to your portfolio of products and monetize them completely. Once you have done this once you will see it can be just as easy to personalize video as it is reports and ebooks.

The only difference is that videos sell better and for more dollars. After all if you are going to do the work you might as well make as much as possible.

Do you ever wonder the following…

“Why most people FAIL to create sustainable income online?”

That’s one of the questions that will be answered by Ronnie Nijmeh and Nicole Dean in a free call this week.

Who are Ronnie and Nicole? Well, they’re both successful and respected online business owners who’ve also helped numerous other business owners to grow their online businesses. They’ll be offering a “Rapid Product Formula” course to help bloggers & affiliate marketers to create their first infoproduct (ebook or audio) FAST. Not only that, but they’re going to have a coaching program where you get to interact privately via email with both of them for an entire month! I, personally, prefer private coaching, because I like to be able to ask questions and not worry about what the other students think.

Here are some of other topics that will be covered in this free call:

• Why you need a product FAST in order to succeed online
• The TOP 5 Product Creation FEARS
• How we discovered a SIMPLE FORMULA for quickly creating products that SELL
• How to choose a PROFITABLE market that you can EASILY sell to today, tomorrow, and forever

Here’s the link to sign up for the call.

Product Creation De-Mystified

I’ll be on, too!

During the call, you’ll get access to a special discount if you decide to move ahead with their coaching. However, whatever you choose, the call itself will be interesting and informative and you’ll be glad you listened, I’m sure.

Here’s the link again to the motivational stories, in case you missed it the other day:

Fear? Frustration? Fatigue?

Those are the “F” words in Internet Marketing, at least according to my friend, Nicole Dean. (Yes the very same Nicole Dean whose PLR article packs I regularly recommend.)

She says those three words are responsible for most of your struggles in your online business.

Recently, Nicole teamed up with her friend, Ronnie Nijmeh, and they’ve put together a killer course for helping ANYONE to create their first info product.

They’ve put together reports, videos, worksheets, and will even be hosting Q&A calls, too.

But, she and Ronnie both know that that’s not enough for a lot of marketers. You’ll still let those three words stop you. So, they’re going to be offering personal one-on-one private coaching, as well. You can ask ANY questions about creating your info product and they’ll personally answer them.

I’m getting ahead of myself though. Right now, you can’t sign up for their program. It’s not ready yet.

BUT…

You can grab a free report with some cool fables about success. It’s a quick read and it’ll make you think. (It did for me.)

Grab it at Motivational Stories.

When you go to get the Motivational Stories report, be sure to sign up to access their free call “Product Creation De-Mystified” where you’ll hear directly from Nicole and Ronnie and learn more about the benefits of creating your own info products.

Actually, Nicole and Ronnie challenged me to name ONE “guru” who doesn’t have an info product. Go ahead. Try it. I couldn’t come up with even one!

Again, grab that report here:

Motivational Stories

Be sure to look at Page 4 of the free report. The Bonsai tree story really struck a nerve for me.

Yesterday I wrote about a new PLR release from Edmund Loh – Affiliate Blogging Secrets PLR which is a video course. Some had questions on using video PLR and were concerned about how to adapt it.

Even a few people that use PLR regularly were a bit concerned so I wanted to review what I feel is the best course to walk you through how to use a product like that.

Converting PLR Videos Into Your Own Unique Products

This is from the PLR Master – Doug Champigny and he covers it all. I use this as a review each time I grab a PLR video product especially for converting the videos.

He covers all of the steps from getting the sales letter online to personalizing the videos.

Video has become the way to do new products and taking them time to be able to quickly and easily convert PLR videos into your own unique products is a skill that you really should acquire.

This course is a great investment in your education and if you apply the techniques will allow you to easily convert PLR videos to make them uniquely yours.

Grab your copy today at Converting PLR Videos Into Your Own Unique Products.

Once you have gone through it you can easily get the most from a product like Edmund’s new Affiliate Blogging Secrets PLR.

Recently a good friend of mine Joel Osborne asked a question on Buzz and on his blog titled “Whats Your PLR Limit?” about how many licenses you should allow for new PLR products.

Now before we start this will be looked at from a purchasers prospective and not from a sellers or affiliate promoters perspective. Having a limited offer creates a deadline and implies more value. If it is a package I am going to sell to others having a deadline improves sales.

Now understanding all of that from the sellers side how much difference does it make from the purchasers side?

Here it will depend on what you do with the PLR. If you do what you should be doing it won’t make much difference at all.

Lets use Source Code Goldmine as an example. This offer was limited time but was not limited in the number of packages and sold quite a few. My guess would be a lot more than the 75-100 limit you see on most PLR packages.

The products I got from there that I have used have done quite well despite all of the competition but…

What I put out was different from what I received

Everything got edited and added my own bonuses on this that I used

New graphics in places and often added or subtracted information from the original package

Now shortly after the sale I saw a lot of people just throw up the various products as is and try and compete on price. Not sure those people did well with them.

On one or two I probably saw emails for the same thing from 5 different sources each at a lower price than the previous offer. Not very smart.

The key is that for the purchaser there are only a couple thing that matter because 99% of the people won’t put in any serious effort into using the PLR products.

The quality of the product is much more important than the number of copies and the actual rights that you get to it.

Unfortunately not everything has the same rights and knowing and understanding what you can and can’t do with the PLR and its quality are much more important to making it profitable for you as a purchaser than the number of licenses available.

That is one of the reasons that there are only certain people like Nicole Dean, Joel Osborne, Doug Champigny and a few others that I will promote their PLR products. And I would do that whether they continue to limit their packages or not.

It is the quality and the license that really matters not the number of licenses. Just my humble opinion now let me know what yours is in the comments below.
