I like your style too Mike. You hit it right on the head, people hate that 4 letter word “work”. It does take some time but it’s well worth it. I too have taken the easy route in the past but have learned my lesson. There’s really no benefit in using PLR content as is. Make it your own and you’ll get better results

I could just stop with saying that I agree: “The key to using private label rights is to make it yours.”

But I also agree that people tend to avoid WORK and in doing so they do not take the time to insure that the products they produce with PLR is actually their product. As you say PLR can be a great time saver. But time saved that does not produce “your” product may not prove beneficial as others will know it.

That’s a really important point that most people miss, Mike – not only does rewriting your plr give you better SEO results when used online, but a simple rewrite with an added audio version or video version let’s you not only avoid discounting, but actually get even more for your new product than other users of that same PLR.

People are inherently lazy, so the more effort you put in, the greater the distance between your finished product and theirs – and the greater your potential profits.

Perhaps the best value of reworking your PLR material is that you actually learn more yourself by rewriting it and putting it in your own words. This of course is primarily true on topic where you are not already an expert. But no matter what the topic, the act of mental juggling that is your own writing process ingrains the material in your mind deeper and firmer than a quick read and post.

You are so right about how most people use PLR. I am guilty of this as well, but as of late have begun to see how best to use PLR thanks to you and a few others.

It is important that you create it in your voice. If not the people who have been following you for some time and know your past works will definitely pick up on the fact that something was not written by you.

Truth is, there are a lot of people out there looking for that magic button that will make them rich quickly and without having to use that terrible 4 letter word that you mentioned – WORK!
