Have to say you spotlighted one of the biggest mistakes bloggers, and marketers in general, are guilty of, Mike - thinking they already know what keywords they need to target. While they may in fact know their subject inside out and backward, that doesn't give them any greater insight into what people are typing in at the search engines - and I know, because at times I've been guilty of that same breach myself!

Thanks for hammering home the point - hope people are smart enough to listen!

Don't know why it is that my ears perk up at that word free. Just something about it. But both of those products that you mentioned are very good as well and contain some awful good information. I really like Market Samurai and those two pros from Top Traffic Tips give out some great information. Thanks for the tip.

Nothing is really totally free is it. I've been doing alot of keyword research lately and find that I'm investing quite a bit of time to do it properly. Up until now I've been using the freely available keyword search tools but I think it's time to start using a payed tool such as Market Samurai. I'm sure it will save me time and do a better job than I can do on my own. I'm going to take a look at the trial - thanks
