This is one of the few times I have to disagree with Nicole about PLR, Mike. Getting PLR articles within just one niche is fine for newbies starting out, but marketing pros know that the most secure income is that derived from the greatest number of sources.
By getting articles in a variety of niches, it’s easy to set up independent profit centers by creating reports with squeeze pages and a followup e-mail series, all aimed at promoting your own or, more likely, affiliate products through a service like ClickBank.
Rewrite a few of the article for distribution, create & distribute a couple of podcasts and simple text-based videos like this one and you’ll have ongoing traffic to your free report – and your followup e-course.
While simple sites like these are almost never big earners, the cumulative income from 25, 500 or 100 such sites built & added over time can be quite substantial. And more importantly, collectively they’re a stable source of hands-off autopilot income, for as one niche wanes or goes out of season, others are rising to take up the slack.

Another fine topic from Nicole. Finding good quality PLR sites can be hard and she is right, when you are looking make sure you have a good reliable source that you know will be there.

Nicole brings up some great points. Working with PLR material is different for everyone though, people will use it in different ways, which makes it so powerful, but also allows the “rules” of PLR to be unique to each person.

I have use some of Nicole’s PLR products and it was very useful. I agree with Joel. Each person will use PLR in a different way. You just have to determine how and where it will work for your efforts.
I have done a number of my products from scratch, but my most recent project is being built on the back of a quality PLR product. But in my case, I am largely rewriting the product section by section and adding my own material to enhance the final product. While some will do a quick turnaround, I like to add value to the product, which enhances its value to the final user and allows me more pride of authorship.
I have taken material from the project and converted some of it into articles and even more into blog posts. I have also taked sections and created giveaway products I have been using in adswaps. That way I am leveraging my time and money and getting a lot of value out of a one time purchase.
