Combining PLR to be unique
One of the complaints I sometimes here about using PLR is that it is over sold or it is of poor quality. Quite often those can be quite true.
Even some of the “bad” products usually have some piece that is good.If you are like me you usually have more than one product on a specific subject. Even if none of them is great you can grab the best parts of three or four and create a quality product out of it.
This allows you to create something unique which means you no longer are competing with those that are trying to resell the original products.
In most cases they all had sales letter’s that were not great but just as each product had some good parts you can grab the best from the various letters to create a solid sales letter easily.
Order up (in my case) or create (if you have that talent) some new graphics and a mini site and you literally took lemons and made lemonade from them.
You can use the left overs from your creation process to create some quality articles, blog posts and email series to promote your new product.
Here is a quick to do list to accomplish this.
- Grab the best pieces of a few PLR products on a topic to create a quality unique product.
- Get new graphics and site design for the product.
- Create your sales letter using the best from each product.
- Promote the product.
Yes it takes a bit of that nasty word – WORK – but it can pay off and set you head and shoulders above the competition.

Good advice. PLR is very useful in getting ideas and your suggestion about getting ideas from several PLR docuemnts and combining them into a new and unique product are right own. It’s just like doing research and then molding the results into your own take on a particular subject.

Mixing and matching is a great idea. It’s like going to the library and getting two or three books on a topic and then creating a report in school. But much better, if they have a good table of contents or even just well identified headers, you can start using them as your outline, and then fill in each potion with your summary of the PLR contents. That way you end up with a 100% original text in your own voice.
